Post Hirex Press Release - Demon reports the busiest Hirex ever!

This year’s show proved to be very busy indeed. A large increase in the number of independent hire companies both visited the Demon stand and, more importantly, placed orders. Confidence in the independent sector was noticeably buoyant and upbeat with many owner/managers feeling confident that 2000 was going to be a good year in the Hire Industry. On display was the Typhoon 1, a diesel powered hot water pressure washer with an improved guard system, a Tempest 1 electric powered hot water pressure washer showing the new rubber mounted pump & motor, which reduces noise, and a full range of cold water pressure washers, petrol, electric and diesel powered. Demon now has the most comprehensive range of pressure washers for the Hire Industry in Europe. There are now 22 machines in regular production and 14 variants which customers can specify and customise. Andrew Walke, Marketing Director of Demon puts the success of this years show down to "providing the type of machines the customers want at a price they are prepared to pay and giving the very best technical support to back up the product." This is borne out by the number of customers returning to make Demon a "one-stop-shop" for their entire pressure washer needs. Having re-booked for Hirex 2001 Demon are looking forward to a very busy year with the factory working flat out to meet the present demand and the expected increase in sales during the next few months.
